Professor Toledo has been a faculty at CIC since 2016; presently he is pursuing his Ph.D. in Epidemiology from Walden University, Minneapolis. Prior to that, he got his Master’s degree in Genetics from University of Bordeaux-Segalen in France; he also studied French Language in the same university. He earned his Bachelor Degree in Microbiology from University of Havana in Cuba.
After graduating, he began teaching biology at Dade Medical College as an Adjunct Faculty. What he enjoys most about teaching is making Microbiology accessible and relatable to his students.
He has contributed with two publications in the field and his interests are focused on chemistry, microbiology and biochemistry.
