Dr. Anderson became an adjunct nursing professor at CIC in 2016. Her credentials consist of an Associate in Applied Science from Kentucky State University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix, a Master of Science in Nursing from University of Phoenix and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Walden University (Minneapolis). As DNP, she has an extensive curriculum in providing direct clinical care to cardiac, medical and surgical patients.
She provides instruction, and promotes student learning using her knowledge and experience. She enjoys developing lecture strategies that enhance teaching effectiveness in the nursing field.
As Nursing Clinical Professor, Dr. Anderson instructs and evaluates students in the Nursing Program during their clinical rotations and lectures to ensure they meet the qualifications of an excellent professional nurse.
