The objective of the Hospitality and Tourism Management program is to provide students with the appropriate didactic theory and hands-on skills required to prepare them for management positions in the hospitality industry and/or to provide supplemental training for persons previously or currently employed in these occupations.
The Hospitality and Tourism Management program is composed 600 hours of instruction distributed by 400 hours of theoretical aspects and 200 hours of field study. The program offers a sequence of courses that provides coherent and rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare for further education and careers in the Hospitality and Tourism career.
Prior to completion student must successfully pass each course as listed in the Course Listing with a minimum of a “C” (75%). Upon meeting the requirements the student will be awarded a Diploma.
